Maisy is approximately 80% deaf from age-related causes. She can read lips pretty well and can hear if you speak very loudly close to her. Maisy has allergies to grasses, weeds, and trees as well as noise phobias to thunder and similar loud, sudden noises (these are improved since her hearing loss developed). She is unable to digest fat and will become extremely sick if given fatty foods, including most dog foods and treats. Maisy also has spay incontinence, is slightly anemic, and has a collapsing trachea. Please use caution with her throat area - she does better with harnesses or very wide, thick collars.
Maisy can be highly dog aggressive and should not be allowed contact with other dogs under any circumstances. Please use extreme caution allowing her to be near my other dogs that may be found crated next to her. Maisy will quickly lash out and harm other dogs when she is stressed or overstimulated. She is unpredictable and untrustworthy with other dogs but is very solid with people.
Maisy can be environmentally fearful and a bit shy/cautious but has never shown aggression towards humans. She will warm up quickly with playing tug, low fat treats such as plain chicken breast, and lots of petting. Once Maisy has warmed up to you, she enjoys hugs and affection a great deal.

Enzi is not on any medications and doesn't have any health issues. He sometimes doesn't finish his food unless he's had a lot of physical activity. Enzi enjoys taking treats of all kinds. Enzi is undertaking a training program to become a hypoglycemia alert service dog and it is very important that he be reunited with his owner as soon as possible.
Although he can be reactive, Enzi plays nicely with other dogs and is social with people. He likes playing with toys, chasing lures, and tugging.
Enzi is insured through Trupanion, membership #TU20113825.
